Tourists going to Cebu City will arrive via Cebu Mactan International Airport, Cebu Pier 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Cebu North Bus Terminal NBT located in SM City Cebu and Cebu South Bus Terminal CSBT near Elizabeth Mall EMALL and City Mall Bacalso.

You may ride the MyBus in MCIA Mactan Cebu International Airport terminal 1 or 2 going to Cebu North Bus Terminal located in SM City Cebu and the fare is ₱50. There are no vans servicing the airport and the MI-05A jeepney route will only go to Opon Mactan Cebu Ferry Terminal.

If you travel by bus from Bacolod either via Toledo or Tabuelan Port, you will be arriving in Cebu North Bus Terminal NBT. If coming from Dumaguete, or Dapitan, you will be arriving in Cebu South Bus Terminal CSBT. If you choose to ride the ferry or Roro, you will be arriving in Cebu Pier 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

You will then be greeted by a shockingly numerous jeepney routes which you have no idea what to ride and with some going to the same location but with different codes.

Next stop, how to go to your hotel from the terminals.

Dumarating ang mga turistang pupunta sa Cebu City sa pamamagitan ng Cebu Mactan International Airport, Cebu Pier 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Cebu North Bus Terminal NBT na matatagpuan sa SM City Cebu at Cebu South Bus Terminal CSBT malapit sa Elizabeth Mall EMALL at City Mall Bacalso.

Kung ikaw ay galing sa MCIA Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 1 or 2, maaari kang sumakay sa MyBus na papuntang Cebu North Bus Terminal na matatagpuan sa SM City Cebu at ang pamasahe ay ₱50. Walang mga van sa airport at ang MI-05A jeepney route ay pupunta lamang sa Opon Mactan Cebu Ferry Terminal.

Kung magbibiyahe ka sakay ng bus mula sa Bacolod via Toledo o Tabuelan Port, darating ka sa Cebu North Bus Terminal NBT. May mga bus ang Ceres sa NBT papuntang Bacolod, Bantayan Island at Daan Bantayan kung ikaw ay papunta sa Malapascua.

Pagdating mo sa Cebu City, sasalubungin ka ng napakaraming ruta ng jeepney na hindi mo alam kung ano ang sasakayan at ang ilan ay pupunta sa parehong lokasyon ngunit may magkakaibang mga code.

Your next challenge is how you will go to your hotel from the terminal. The first thing that comes to mind is to just grab a taxi and go to the hotel with your luggage. But if you are a budget traveler, you will want to minimize your expenses and save as much money as you can.

The first thing to consider to getting to your hotel is finding the general area of your hotel. Your hotel may be located in one of these areas using the map below

Once you have the area, then, your next job is to find the jeepney routes going to the area. Note that not all routes will have a jeep and you may need to combine 2 jeepney routes.

Ang susunod mong hamon ay kung paano ka pupunta sa iyong hotel mula sa terminal. Ang unang bagay na papasok sa isip mo ay sumakay ng taxi at pumunta sa hotel dala ang iyong bagahe. Ngunit kung ikaw ay isang budget traveller, maaari kang makatipid sa pagsakay ng jeep.

Ang unang bagay na dapat gawin ay tukuyin ang general area ng iyong hotel. Maaaring matatagpuan ang iyong hotel sa isa sa mga lugar na ito gamit ang mapa sa ibaba.

Pag nahanap mo na kung saan ang area ng iyong hotel, ang susunod na gawin mo ay hanapin ang mga ruta ng jeepney na dumadaan sa lugar na iyon. Tandaan na hindi lahat ng ruta ay magkakaroon ng jeep at maaaring kailanganin mong pagsamahin ang 2 ruta ng jeepney.

Another way is to use google maps. First thing to do is put your location and the place you want to go. In the results, click on the icon with the bus and it will give you several routes.

Note

The first result is not always the best route.
The person icon with number will tell you to walk for how many minutes or waiting time.
The bus with number will tell you the route code.
Click the route to check the details
If you see two or more codes 21A/22A beside each other, then that means you can use either of the two.
If you see an arrow after the code, then that means you need to transfer to another jeep with the code 22D > 20A
Google Maps will not tell you the actual route printed on the body of the jeep. You can use the route code cheat sheet below

21A / 22A > walk / wait 4mins > 06H means ride the jeep or modern jeep / mini bus with code 21A or 22A from Cebu North Bus Terminal to National Telecommunications Office, wait up to 4 mins and ride the 20A jeep to Ayala Center Cebu.

Kung makakita ka ng arrow pagkatapos ng code i.e. 22D > 20A, nangangahulugan iyon na kailangan mong lumipat sa isa pang jeep pag dating sa tinakdang bababaan.

21A / 22A > walk / wait 4mins > 06H - Ang ibig sabihin ay sumakay ng jeep, modern jeep / mini bus na may code 21A o 22A mula Cebu North Bus Terminal papuntang National Telecommunications Office, maghintay ng hanggang 4 na minuto at sumakay ng 20A jeep papuntang Ayala Center Cebu at maglakad ng 1 minuto papuntng Hotel Elizabeth.
