Route 5a Jeep Route

Route 5 and Route 5a follow the same path. From Bankerohan Public market, it will go to the underpass towards Pichon St (Magallanes) onto Davao City Hall. It will then turn left on the roundabout following CM Recto (Claveria) towards Roxas Avenue all the way to Ramon Magsaysay and then evenutually turning left in Leon M Guerero St Passing Sta Ana and Guzman Street. It will then turn right on Vinzons steet then right again on Sobrecarey St back to Sta Ana and Sales Street before turning left on Monteverde St. It will turn left again once it reaches F Bangoy, to return to Sta Ana and turn right on W Aquino St before exiting in Agdao Flyover towards Leon Garcia St and Quezon Boulevard. It will eventually retuen in San Pedro Street all the way to San Pedro Extension or Bankerohan.

Route 5b follows the reverse of 5a but instead of turning left on the roundabout after Davao City Hall, it will go straight to Quezon Blvd towards Agdao Flyover. And since CM Recto is a one way street, it will pass along C Bangoy Street.
